Harmony Healing Counselling

A calm, compassionate space for emotional healing and growth.

Welcome to Harmony Healing Counselling, a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to understand yourself more deeply.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be carrying difficult emotions, navigating relationships, coping with loss, or trying to make sense of experiences that have shaped you. Perhaps you feel disconnected from yourself, uncertain about the future or simply need a safe space to talk openly what is happening in your life.

At Harmony Healing Counselling, you will be offered a calm, compassionate and confidential space to explore what is happening in your life, at your own pace, without judgement or pressure.

You do not have to face everything alone

I offer person-centred counselling online and by telephone, providing a compassionate, respectful and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

My aim is to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, reconnecting with your own strengths and finding a greater sense of emotional balance and inner security.

My Healing Philosophy

I believe healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about gently reconnecting with yourself, understanding your emotional world, and developing a greater sense of inner safety and self-acceptance.

Sometimes, we become so focused on managing everyday responsibilities and meeting other people’s expectations that we lose touch with our own needs and feelings.

Counselling offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and begin to understand what you may have been carrying for a long time.

Healing can begin when we feel safe enough to pause, reflect and be honest with ourselves.

I believe meaningful change can develop through understanding, acceptance and a trusting therapeutic relationship. There is no pressure to have all the answers, and there is no set pace you must follow. Your journey is your own.

About me

I am a warm, intuitive and compassionate person-centred counsellor who values the importance of feeling genuinely heard, understood and accepted.

Through my professional experience supporting and working with people, I have developed a strong appreciation of the different challenges individuals can face throughout their lives.

I recognise that everyone has their own story. Behind anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties or a loss of confidence, there may be experiences and feelings that have not yet had the space to be understood. I approach each individual with openness and curiosity, without judgement or assumptions.

I understanding that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting.

My aim is to offer a steady, respectful and non-judgemental counselling relationship where you can speak openly, explore your feelings and work towards a greater understanding of yourself.

I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. You are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you as you make sense of your experiences and identify what feels right for you.

I bring empathy and professional reflection to my work, with a commitment to ongoing learning, supervision and ethical practice.

My Counselling Approach

My approach is person-centred, compassionate and collaborative.

I aim to provide a space where you can speak freely without feeling that you need to protect others, minimise your feelings or explain everything perfectly.

Rather than telling you what to do or assuming I know what is best for you, I aim to explore your experiences and feelings together. I value empathy, genuineness and acceptance, recognising your ability to develop greater self-awareness and identify what feelings right for you.

Together, we can explore what is troubling you, recognise patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing, and consider what you need to feel more grounded and connected to yourself.

Our sessions are guided by you and what feels most important at that time. They may help you to:

- Explore and understand your emotions

-Recognise patterns in your thoughts, feelings and relationships

-Develop greater self-awareness and self-acceptance

-Explore personal boundaries and your own needs

-Build confidence in your decisions

-Develop a stronger sense of emotional safety and resilence

You do not need to prepare anything before a session or know exactly what you want to discuss. We can begin wherever you are.

You are welcome to bring whatever is troubling you and we can explore it together.

A space where you can be yourself

You deserve to feel accepted without needing to hide parts of who you are.

I aim to provide an inclusive and respectful counselling space for people from different backgrounds, cultures, identities and life experiences, including LGBTQ+ and non-binary clients.

You do not need to justify your feelings, explain your identity or fit into someone else's experiences. Our work will focus on your experiences, your needs and what matters to you.

A Space Where You Can Be Yourself

Whether you are navigating personal change, exploring your identity, struggling with relationships or trying to understand your emotions, our work will begin with listening to your experience and understanding what matters to you.

What to Expect From Counselling

Beginning counselling can feel like a significant step, especially if you are used to managing things on your own.

You do not need to prepare a perfect explanation of your difficulties or know exactly what you want to achieve.

There is no expectation to share everything straight away. Trust takes time, and you can choose what you feel ready to talk about.

Our first conversations offer an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to counselling, what you hope to gain from it and any questions or concerns you may have. I aim to work alongside you with empathy, respect and care, allowing space for reflection and exploration without pressure.

Our work may involve:

  • Exploring what has brought you to counselling.

  • Understanding your feelings and emotional responses.

  • Identifying patterns that may no longer be helpful.

  • Exploring your needs, values and personal boundaries.

  • Developing greater self-awareness and self-compassion.

  • Working towards changes that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

Some sessions may involve exploring difficult feelings. Others may focus on reflection, understanding or recognising progress.

The aim is to create a consistent space where you can be honest about your experiences and work at a pace that feels manageable.

Counselling is a collaborative process, and your experiences and perspective will guide our work together.

Online and Telephone Counselling

I offer counselling online and by telephone, giving you the opportunity to access support from a place where you feel comfortable and have privacy. Giving you the flexibility to access support from a place where you feel comfortable and have suitable privacy.

Additionally, online and telephone counselling can make it easier to fit sessions where you may have a busy schedule, prefer not to travel, or feel more at ease speaking from your own environment.

Sessions are planned to last 50 minutes and provide dedicated time for you to focus on your emotional wellbeing.

Before beginning counselling, I will explain the arrangements for confidentiality, privacy, record keeping, appointments and what happens if additional support is needed.

Sessions will be offered in accordance with my professional competence, confirmed insurance arrangements and applicable legal and professional requirments.

My Commitment to You

I aim to offer a counselling relationship grounded in empathy, respect, confidentiality and professional boundaries.

I recognise the importance of feeling safe enough to explore difficult experiences, while also respecting your pace, choices and individual circumstances.

My commitment is to listen carefully, work collaboratively and support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself. Your experiences will be approached with care, and you will be given space to explore your feelings without judgement or pressure. I will respect your individuality and support you in finding your own understanding, rather than imposing my beliefs or expectations.

Counselling is not about becoming someone else. It is about having the space to understand who you are, what you have experienced and what you may need moving forward.

Confidentiality is an important part of counselling, subject to appropriate professional and legal limits, which will be explained before we begin.

Take the First Step

You do not have to wait until everything feels overwhelming before reaching out.

If you are considering counselling, you are welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation. We can discuss what has brought you here, what you hope to gain from counselling and whether my approach feels suitable for you.

Perhaps you are ready to understand yourself more deeply, make sense of difficult experiences or simply have somewhere to talk openly. Whatever has brought you here, you are welcome to take that first step at your own pace.

Language, Culture and Inclusion

At Harmony Healing Counselling, I welcome people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. You do not need to have English as your first language to seek support.

I recognise that language, culture, family values and personal experiences can all influence our emotional wellbeing. I aim to offer a warm, respectful and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself and exploring what matters to you.

I also welcome enquiries from Arabic-speaking clients who would feel more comfortable discussing their experiences in Arabic. We can discuss your language preferences before arranging a session to ensure that I can appropriately meet your needs.

My aim is for every client to feel heard, respected and accepted, without feeling that they need to justify their cultural background or explain who they are.

Your story matters. Your feelings deserve space. You do not have to navigate everything alone.

Professional Supervision, Insurance and Safe practise.

Professional supervision, appropriate insurance and clear working procedures are important parts of establishing a responsible counselling practise.

I am putting the arrangements in place to support safe and ethnical practise, including professional supervision, appropriate insurance, confidentiality, secure handling of client information and clear boundaries.

My insurance arrangements will be checked against the services I intend to offer, including video and telephone counselling. I will confirm the scope of cover before commencing client work.

I will also ensure that my services are offered in accordance with the relevant professional, legal and insurance requirements.
